The process

From a link to a decision.

You send a product. We investigate the opportunity and hand back a clear GO or PASS — with the evidence attached. No dashboards to interpret, no hype to decode.

STEP 01

Send your product

A photo, a written idea, an Amazon/marketplace link, or a supplier link. One is enough — more context sharpens the verdict.

STEP 02

We investigate

Market, competition, retail pricing, supplier range, unit economics, risk and the product-improvement angle.

STEP 03

Get the verdict

A clear GO or PASS, the reasoning behind it, and the specific unknowns still worth resolving.

STEP 04

Decide what's next

Order, improve, renegotiate, investigate further — or walk away with your capital intact.

What you can send

Start with whatever you have.

You don't need every link. A single starting point is enough to open the investigation.

01

A product idea

Just a description of what you're thinking of selling, and who it's for.

02

A product photo

An image from a listing, a supplier, or your own concept.

03

An Amazon link

A marketplace listing you want assessed or matched.

04

A supplier link

An Alibaba/AliExpress or other supplier reference.

How we handle evidence

Every claim is labelled. Nothing is dressed up.

Investigative discipline is the whole point. We separate what's proven from what's estimated from what's still unknown — so you can trust the GO or PASS.

Verified fact

Observed directly in a screenshot or an accessible public page — with its limits stated.

Estimate

A calculated figure with its assumptions attached. Labelled, never presented as certainty.

Assumption

A working hypothesis we think is reasonable — and flag as a thing to test.

Unknown

What we couldn't confirm yet, and what it would take to resolve it.

We don't fabricate sales data, invent testimonials, or turn a seller's description into tested performance. If the evidence is thin, the report says so.

The verdict

What GO and PASS actually mean.

GO

Worth exploring further.

The evidence supports a next step — often a sample or a small pilot, with named conditions to confirm. A GO is not a purchase order or a promise of profit, and a GO for a pilot is not a GO for inventory.

PASS

Looks tempting, but not strong enough.

On the current evidence, this version isn't worth your inventory. A PASS isn't "this can never sell" — it's what would need to change, and why. A supported PASS is a valid, useful outcome.

Data & sources

Public evidence first — licensed data where warranted.

Investigations start from observable public evidence: marketplace listings, retail pricing, reviews and supplier pages, each dated and linked. In a Full Decision Report, licensed Amazon data is used only where it's available and permitted — and we tell you when a number comes from it. We don't claim data we didn't actually access.

Important

Decision support — not a guarantee of profit.

SourceVerdict reduces uncertainty before you commit money. It does not guarantee sales, margins, supplier performance or regulatory approval. You stay in control of the decision; we make sure it's an informed one. Products with specialised safety, medical, food or electrical requirements may need a different scope — tell us up front.
